Hello DCS families, it was another busy week with lots of learning and activities going on at school. I was able to walk with the Kindergarteners up to the Library for a tour and time to listen to a story. The students were wonderful and were so excited to browse the books. I also was able to go with the 3rd, 4th, and 5th graders to the Colonial Theater to watch "Kattam and his Tamtams." I have to say this was the most amazing school performance I have ever attended. Kattam engaged the audience in unique ways; learning words in different languages, participating in singing the songs with him, dancing to the music and many more. Friday was a lovely end to the week with PE being held outside! Have a great weekend, Nicole

A message from Pam Murphy, RN DCS School Nurse

Recently, there have been numerous student requests for cough drops. As cough drops are considered medication, I am asking for your help in following the ConVal policy on medication administration at the elementary level. To do this, any medication, including cough drops, must be delivered to the school by a parent/guardian or their designated responsible adult in the original container. A written permission form is also required which is available at DCS.
