Dear CJHS Community,

I hope you've had a wonderful Thanksgiving break with your kiddos!

UIL

Wednesday is UIL @RiverRoad
Your students already know which busses they will ride and what time they will compete.
There may be a few changes - and if so - your student will be notified on Monday.
Thank you for your help in ensuring our students are prepared!!

Attendance

Please remember that at the secondary level, attendance is taken per class period. If your student leaves at lunch - they are considered absent for every class period they miss, and so on.
Your child may be present every day for 1st and 2nd period but considered truant because they've missed 10 times last period.
Exemption letters will be sent home soon! Your child may be exempt from some classes and be required to test in others - depending on their absences (see the exemption policy below!)
