👋 Welcome to our new FEB parents! We are so happy to have your child at FEB this year! FEB Tiger Talk is our monthly newsletter we share at the beginning of each month to give you a heads up of upcoming dates, celebrate our students and staff, and share important information. Hopefully the information shared below will help you feel confident and excited about the upcoming year.

🪩 This year, we're embracing a groovy theme with the focus: Learning from the Past, Rockin' into the Future! We're celebrating the progress we've made while setting our sights on continued growth. By building on past successes, we're preparing our students and staff to be future-ready and full of momentum!

Please join Mrs. Helms in the gym for a quick meeting at the times below prior to traveling to classrooms.
Redstone will also be on campus for our Super Saver accounts! Please bring your child's Social Security card if you are interested in signing up!
Kindergarten – 5:00 PM
1st & 2nd Grade – 5:45 PM
3rd & 4th Grade – 6:30 PM

August 7: First Day for ALL Students! 🎉

Kindergarten ONLY will dismiss at 11:40 am on August 7th and 8th and will not have after school care.

Doors open at 7:10 a.m.

Students should remain in their vehicles until the 7:10 bell for drop-off. There is no supervision before that time.

School begins at 7:40 a.m.

Parents of students arriving after the 7:40 a.m. bell will need to sign them in at the office.

School dismisses at 2:40 p.m.

Please display your child's car sign for dismissal.
Students not picked up by 3:00 p.m. will be sent to Extended Day for a fee.
If there is a change in your child’s transportation, please send a handwritten note to the teacher. For emergencies, call the office before 1:30 p.m.

Morning Carline: For safety reasons, do not park in the FEB parking lot and walk your child in.

Afternoon carline: You must display your car sign during pick-up. These will be distributed during Meet the Teacher.

Cannon Hill is the 9th Place National and 1st Place Alabama winner in the 2025 Spring InvestWrite Essay Competition in the Grades 4-5 Division. Congrats, Cannon! He received cash prizes and a medal!

The state department classifies 18 absences (excused and unexcused) as chronic absenteeism and this many absences can negatively impact student success now and in the future. Students are allowed 5 written parent excuses each semester. If you have questions about attendance, please contact FEB.
