Good morning,

Happy Sunday!

Happy Grandparents' day to all of our Grizzly Grandparents!! We hope that you are showered with love and appreciation today! 💙

We are off and running since returning from our August Academic Break. Please continue to check in on your child's academic progress by creating your parent Infinite Campus account so that you can see your child's progress in real-time. If you have any concerns regarding your child's progress, please reach out to their teacher(s) to set up a parent/teacher conference. The 2nd quarter begins on October 13th. Face-to-Face parent/teacher conferences are offered on October 20th from 7:30 A.M. until 3:30 P.M.

Our NC School Report Card for the 24-25 school year was released last week. We are proud to say that we were able to maintain our "C" performance letter grade. However, this is not something we are ultimately satisfied with as we work to regain our historical "B" performance letter grade. We will be challenging our students and teachers to improve this letter grade throughout our 25-26 academic school year. We can't do this alone. There simply aren't enough hours in the day. We need your help at home helping us reinforce the skills your student learns at school in order to be successful. This looks like: checking their homework at night (don't let them tell you they have no homework- what can you review with them- quizzes, learning objectives for the week, projects, etc.), helping them study for tests/assessments, encouraging them to read nightly, and practicing math facts or math fluency skills with them daily will help our Grizzlies be successful.

We know our students are so much more than a test score, but we need to prepare our students the best we possibly can in order to help them master academic content so that they are college and career ready upon graduation from Clover Garden School.

Please continue challenging your student at home and being an active participant in their daily learning. Thank you for working together with us!

You can visit the NCDPI Accountability Dashboard by clicking HERE to review our school's performance grade and compare it to others.

You can also see a snapshot below of our 24-25 NC School Report Card results.

Thank you for your continued support of our school!

As we continue through the school year, please keep these important reminders in mind:

Classroom Questions & Concerns:

Please reach out directly to your scholar's teacher with any specific classroom questions or concerns.

• Prepare for each school day the night before

• Once your vehicle enters our gravel area, have your student begin getting ready to exit the car by the time you reach the farthest cone

• Students should gather belongings, put away devices, and unbuckle seat belts during this time

School Expectations: Please review school expectations regularly with your scholar to reinforce our shared commitment to their success.

Thank you for your ongoing support and partnership. Enjoy the remainder of your evening.

All the BEST,

Leah Spencer

SS-ARS Student Training Videos
