Sloane Gazda moved into the Blaze group this season and quickly made a place for herself as a leader in and out of the pool. It is not always common for such a young swimmer to establish themselves as a leader of their peers and of older athletes, but this is certainly the case with Sloane. While her work ethic and time standards earned her a place in the Blaze training group at the beginning of the season, she has truly doubled down on practice performance and her impressive meet results have shown what dedicated and focused practice can do!
