Registration:

If you have a child who turns 5 before September 1, 2025, and you have not yet come into the school to register, please do so immediately. Our kindergarten enrollment affects the number of teachers our school receives.

Testing:

Kindergarten testing will take place Monday, August 11 through Wednesday, August 13. We need parents of each kindergarten student to complete the following prior to August 8:

Log in to myDSD, click on "Tools," then "Appointment," and select an assessment time. The assessment with consist of a 20-minute session with a teacher and a six-minute session with a TA.

We will keep you updated in the coming weeks with more information, but there are a couple of things we'd like you to know:

Grade-level supply lists are posted on the school website. These supplies are used during the regular school day and can be brought from home on a voluntary basis. If not supplied from home, the school will supply these: https://5il.co/2p7tx

Class assignments for grades 1-6 will be made available August 8th through your myDSD account. Class assignments made prior to this date are not final and are only for the purpose of letting the district know how many students we have in each class. Adjustments will be made based on enrollment changes and other needs, but we are no longer accepting teacher requests. Thank you for your understanding. Class assignments for kindergarten will be made available August 14th through your myDSD account.

Back-to-School open house will be Thursday, August 14, from 4:30-6:00pm. This will be an open house format where you can visit with teachers, order school shirts, join the PTA, etc. We are excited to have you join us!

First day of school for Grades 1-6 will be Monday, August 18. It will be EARLY OUT

First day of school for kindergarten will be Wednesday, August 20. It will be EARLY OUT for KINDERGARTEN ONLY. Grades 1-6 will stay all day. The PTA will be sponsoring a Cheers & Tears event for kindergarten parents from 9:00-9:30am in the activity room.
