iReady Testing iReady Testing

Talk to your child about their goals and how they can achieve them. To help your child prepare for the i-Ready diagnostic test, encourage them to get a good night's sleep and eat a healthy breakfast.

Help calm their nerves by explaining that the diagnostic test allows teachers to understand their strengths and identify areas where they need more support. This understanding will help tailor their learning path, so there’s no need to feel nervous.

iReady testing is March 25th-28th. PLEASE make sure your child is at school and on time each day.

📣Hello Families!

I hope you all had a wonderful weekend!

Thank you to the parents who contributed to Lids for Kidz! We collected $100 and PTO will match that amount so $200 will be donated to help kids with cancer.

**Willy Wonka, Jr. Is Almost Here!** This year, we will have a morning show and two evening shows. If you would like to attend, please visit the main office to purchase a ticket. Mr. Stroupe, his team, and our students are working hard to put on a fantastic show for you. Tickets are only $5, and we will have concessions available for purchase before the show.

We have a rack and a table filled with coats waiting to be claimed. Please encourage your child to come in and check for their coat so they can find their way back home. Any unclaimed coats will be donated after March 28th.

To help ensure your child's coat is returned, please make sure their name is clearly written on it. As the weather gets warmer, students often take their coats off and may forget what they look like. 😊

Have a fabulous week!

We are committed to maximizing our students' learning opportunities, which is why we have implemented a dedicated time called WIN (What I Need). This ensures that students receive critical support without missing out on essential instruction in their regular classrooms.

At Mary Wright, we take pride in our team of dedicated academic interventionists. Dr. Jefferies and Mrs. Lee focus on improving students' reading skills. Additionally, Mrs. Ridgeway works with our Multilingual Learners to enhance their reading abilities, while Mrs. Condra-Bogan is committed to boosting their math proficiency.

Every day, they engage with students in small groups, providing personalized support to empower them for success in their academic journey.
