A big thank-you to all the families who volunteered their time to chaperone our kindergarten field trip to Kroll’s Farm! We appreciate your support in helping make this a fun, memorable experience for our students. Our kindergarteners had a wonderful time exploring, learning, and making special memories with their classmates. Take a look at a few snapshots of our little Eagles having fun!

We value open, respectful, and positive communication between families and staff. We encourage everyone to approach conversations with kindness, patience, and a shared focus on student success.

Please remember: Teachers are focused on instruction and supporting students throughout the school day and may not be able to respond to messages immediately. Messages received during the school day or after school hours will be addressed as soon as possible during regular working hours. Thank you for respecting our staff's time and allowing them to prioritize student learning.

🎨 School Clubs: Attendance Expectations 🎨 School Clubs: Attendance Expectations

We are excited that our school clubs are underway! Regular attendance is required for students participating in clubs. Consistent participation helps students build skills and enjoy the full club experience. Please remember that repeated absences may result in removal from a club to allow another student the opportunity to participate.

East Eagles Family Math Challenge! Get Involved! East Eagles Family Math Challenge! Get Involved!

🏠 Your Mission: Math Is Everywhere!

East Eagles, it's time to put your math skills to the test! Work with your family to complete these fun math challenges using items you can find around your home. You don't need worksheets or special supplies—just curiosity, creativity, and a little teamwork!

🔢 Choose Your Challenge

Kindergarten: Count & Sort

Find 10–20 small items, such as toys, socks, or spoons. Count them, sort them by color, size, or type, and tell your family how many are in each group.

First-grade: Add It Up!

Find two groups of household items. Count each group, then combine them to solve an addition problem. Can you create and solve 3 different problems?

Second-grade: Math Detective

Find three household items and estimate how many small steps it would take to walk across the room. Measure by walking, compare your estimate, and explain the difference. Then create a two-digit addition or subtraction problem using numbers you discover at home.

Family Bonus: Shape Hunt!

Search your home for circles, squares, rectangles, and triangles. Find at least 2 examples of each shape and explain where you found them.

📸 Show Us Your Math!

Families, take a picture of your child completing a challenge or ask them to explain what they learned. Share your math adventure with us through ParentSquare!
