Spring Testing begins on April 7. Student who are testing will be sent communication via school email as well as from their classroom teacher. Please take some time to review the schedule for these days.

Test Dates Set by the District:

• April 7, 2025 - English Language Arts II End of Course (4 hour test)
  
• April 8, 2025 - Algebra I End of Course (3 hour test) AND Geometry End of Course (3 hour test)
  
• April 14, 2025 - Biology End of Course (3 hour test)
  
• April 15, 2025 - American History End of Course (3 hour test) AND American Government End of Course (3 hour test)

The Celtic Countdown 2025 will arrive next Friday! This newsletter will contain information for all things related to senior Spring events and activities.

Over the first weekend of Spring Break, our Model UN team achieved another impressive record at the OSU Model UN conference. For the first time, they won the Best Large Delegation award! Additionally, out of 32 competitors participating in 10 committees, 16 students received an award!

Once again DCS is partnering with the Dublin Chamber of Commerce to present the Work In Dublin Student Job Fair. The event will take place on Thursday, April 24th from 9:45am-12:30 pm at Dublin Scioto High School. It features part-time/summer jobs, internships, and full-time jobs with benefits for seniors getting ready to graduate.

Students need to register in order to attend and transportation will be provided. Here is the student registration link. Students must be signed into their @dublinstudents account to access the form.

DCS Virtual classes are for credit advancement and students who are taking the courses for the first time. Unlike other summer school programs, DCS Virtual courses are taught by Dublin City School teachers who are fully certified in their respective subject areas.

Due the the garcious support of our Dublin Community we have a number of necessary and exciting projects taking place this summer. This will require some flexibility and changes to our normal practices. Below you will see the list of projects and timeline for activity. Due to the large volume of projects Dublin Jerome will NOT be available for any outside rentals the entirety of the summer.

Mr. Schwanke and I will be working with our athletes and coaches to communicate and update regarding access to summer activities. This communication will be frequent to keep everyone in the loop. If you have questions, please do not hesitate to reach out to us!

The Dublin Jerome Chess Club is hosting its first state-wide chess tournament this April and we’d love your help spreading the word to your students. This exciting event is fun and a great opportunity for all ages to engage in chess.
