Hello Navigators,

If you have not done so already please return the Impact Aid Forms tomorrow. It is important that these be returned. Thank you!

Parent/Teacher conferences continue this week. Please remember that each day is an early release day with dismissal at 12:25.

On days that we have ice cream sales (Wednesdays and some Fridays) if you want your child to participate please send money with them to school. Please do not bring money to the office to deliver to your child. We cannot accept and deliver money to students.

The deadline to purchase device insurance was extended to October 20th. If you wish to purchase this to insure your student's school issued devices visit this site to sign up.

Mark your calendar for some upcoming meetings. On Tuesday 10/24 our School Site Council will meet at 7:30 AM. Even if you are not a council member you can attend. On 10/25 at 6 PM will be our monthly PTO meeting.

Our Fall Carnival is scheduled for October 27th. You can check out this link to find out more volunteer information or sign up.

On Wednesdays we will have Nichols Spirit days. Wear Nichols gear or wear blue!

The BASE PROGRAM provides Before & After School care. If you are interested in enrolling your Child, please contact them through their website.

We are so thrilled with out STEAM program. STEAM stands for Science, technology, engineering, art, and mathematics. We have Ms. Pauels who teaches the STEM parts of STEAM and Ms. Harmon who teaches Art. Check out the STEAM Newsletter for the latest information.

Oceanside Unified School District has partnered with Care Solace to help families in need of mental health support. This services can help quickly find available services. To access this service call 888-515-0595 or visit their website at www.caresolace.com/ousd. If you have any questions about this or other school counseling services please reach out.

We know there are times when issues come up that need to be resolved. OUSD has created a chain of communication that allows for an efficient resolution process. This is now located on our school’s website under “Our School” called Chain of Communication.
