Congratulations to everyone involved with Sledmere School for a highly successful year, despite the continued trials and tribulations of COVID. We are proud of everyone's efforts and everyone's contribution. Well done for the part you have played in making us great. #teamsledmere

Mr Richardson

Relax, stay safe and have fun. We look forward to seeing you in September.

I'd like to reiterate the thanks we mentioned yesterday during our Leavers' Collective Worship.

'I’d like to thank your fantastic parents, carers and our community. I’d like to thank the governors for their time and support. I’d also like to thank the staff for their amazing dedication and ability. And of course I’d like to say a special thank you to Revd. Jacki for her unwaivering support and to you our pupils for making our school so special. THANK YOU ALL. So whether you are moving from Reception to Year 1 or swapping classes or even school, I wish you all a relaxing, peaceful summer filled with laughter and fun. For those who are returning in September, we can’t wait to see you. For those who are moving school we can’t wait to hear of your successes. You are always very welcome here.'

In addition, I'd like to thank you for your generosity, good humour and support during this complicated year. Let's hope that 2021 - 2022 is more straightforward.

Please continue to let us know as soon as you are able should your child or someone in your household display symptoms of COVID or have a confirmed case. If you need a test please use the link here.

We are hoping that school will look even more normal in September. As we enter the summer break we are still awaiting firm confirmation about the expectations from Public Health England and the Local Authority. As soon as we are able, I will share this information with you. We are likely to retain many of the COVID safe arrangements like hand washing; use of well ventilated spaces ; face coverings and enhanced cleaning.
