Schools Out for Summer..But the Excitement Contiues!

Another incredible school year has come to a close, and what a year it has been! As we celebrate the accomplishments of our students, staff, and families, I want to thank our entire Redwings Community for your continued support throughout the 2025-2026 school year. Together, we have celebrated successes, overcome challenges, and continued building a strong foundation for our students.

While summer provides a well-deserved opportunity to relax, recharge, and make lasting memories with family and friends, the work behind the scenes at Eminence R-1 never truly stops. Throughout the summer months, our staff will be busy preparing classrooms, planning instruction, completing maintenance projects, welcoming new team members, and making final preparations for what promises to be another outstanding school year.

We are especially excited to launch our inaugural Redwings Rally this August! This new community event is designed to help students and families start the school year with confidence by connecting them with school resources, community organizations, and local partners. Whether you're a student, parent, business owner, or community member, there will be something for everyone. Be sure to check out the information later in this newsletter to learn how you can participate!

The 2026-2027 school year is filled with opportunity, and we can't wait to welcome our students back through our doors. Until then, I encourage everyone to enjoy the slower pace of summer, spend time outdoors, read a great book, make memories with loved ones, and take time to recharge.

Thank you for being an important part of Redwings Nation. We appreciate your partnership and look forward to seeing everyone at Redwings Rally and welcoming our students back for another year of learning, growth, and success.

988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline Information

Governor Mike Parson announced that the Missouri 988 Suicide and Crisis Lifeline has launched a new website: www.missouri988.org. The site provides information for anyone who may be experiencing a mental health, suicide, or substance use crisis.

The newly designated 988 phone number went live nationwide on July 16, 2022. Since that time, it has routed thousands of individuals to local, trained crisis specialists at Missouri’s 988 centers. The 988 crisis line connects anyone experiencing a mental health, suicide, or substance use crisis to compassionate, accessible care and support, available 24/7. Support is free and confidential.
