Hello Cecil Manor Families!

Friday, October 16th is a professional development day for our staff; No School for Students.

The Cecil Manor March (CMM) is happening soon on Friday, October 23rd. If you have not received the information already, please review this packet to find out more about the Cecil Manor March. Those who would like to volunteer for the CMM or any school events must have volunteer clearance through the volunteer training. We have one volunteer training remaining, Thursday, October 15th and it is virtual. Please join us if you are planning to volunteer at any time throughout this school year.

Please join us at the North East Public Library on Thursday, October 15, 2026, from 6:00-7:30. Parents will receive information about “Executive Functioning and the Impact on Your Child’s Learning”

Each month we would like to highlight a community partner that works with Cecil Manor. For the month of September, we would like to highlight the Elkton United Methodist Church. Elkton United Methodist provides additional supplies to teachers at the beginning of every year. They also make financial donations to the school to support purchasing food for our food pantry (Meerkat Market). We are grateful to have the Elkton United Methodist Church as a partner with us.

Next week we will start offering playgroups. This is a chance for families and children age birth to 5 to stop by and explore our space while learning about the Judy Center! The playgroup and activity schedule is linked below.

Here's the weekly newsletter: 10.11.26
