What's Happening at Odyssey?

We need your help. We have had problems with vaping on school grounds in the past couple weeks. Please talk with your student about vaping, the associated health risks, and the expectations we have at school. We can address vaping at school, but we need families to partner with us at home.

In Michigan, the legal age to purchase tobacco and nicotine products, including vapes, is 21. If your student is already vaping, check out this resource to help support them in quitting. Please help us keep vape products out of the hands of our students. Thank you for your support.

Please be sure to fill out Final Forms for this school year. What you enter in Final Forms is what we use for the year- this includes your student's address, phone numbers, allergies, and medications.

It is very important this is filled out yearly and updated as contact or medical information changes. Please log in and make sure your screen is green! Come in to the office or call if you need some help getting back online to update your Final Forms.

It is time to fill out the FAFSA form if your student is considering college next school year.

To start the online FAFSA form, do the following:

1. Select “Start New Form.”

   
   

2. Select which FAFSA form you want to fill out: 2027–28 or 2026–27 depending on when you want to start classes.

   
   

3. Log in using your StudentAid.gov account username and password.

   
   

4. Select “Student.” (If a parent wants to start their dependent child’s FAFSA form, they should select the “Parent” option.)

If your senior is interested in meeting with Michigan Works, please let the office know. A rep comes here from Michigan Works and will work with students on planning their employment path now and after graduation.
