Murray Pilots
PTO Newsletter January #1
Dear Murray Families,
We want to acknowledge the fear and uncertainty many in our community are experiencing right now due to the unwanted presence of ICE in our area. We want to be clear: ICE is not welcome at Murray. Our school community is, and will remain, a place of care, dignity, and belonging for all families.
We recognize that many of our families are under increased stress and facing greater needs than ever before. This moment calls for compassion, solidarity, and action grounded in support.
The purpose of this message is to share resources, information, and ways our Murray community can take care of one another. We hope this newsletter serves as a source of reassurance, connection, and practical support during a difficult time. You are not alone, and our community stands with you.
With care and solidarity,
Lynnae Erwin, President
Mandi Rupp, President
Nia Anderson, Treasurer
Kerrin Flanagan, Secretary

Donations & Volunteering
Our community is strongest when we show up for one another
Right now, some families connected to our school are experiencing real hardship and could use extra support. If you are able to help, monetary donations can be made securely through our GiveMN page.
Every contribution—big or small—goes directly toward supporting families in need. Thank you for caring for our community and for helping ensure no family feels alone during this time.
I’m so grateful to be part of such an amazing school community and blown away by the support we’ve already received. If you’d like to volunteer, please fill out this form: Volunteer Form
