Who has Olympic fever? Centerville Elementary students do! With a focus on perseverance, students drew or wrote their personal goal on colored circles of paper to make the wall mural. This work of art in the hallway is not only a celebration of the Olympic athletes and their commitment to training and competing, but also the students' own goals of achievement. Centerville is going for the goal-d!

Local author and Centennial alumna Elizabeth Andrews visited Centennial Elementary to share her love of reading. Andrews has written more than 150 non-fiction texts for students in Grades 2-6 and is a 2014 graduate of Centennial High School.

👍Golden Lake Elementary students and staff had fun switching up the school day. Teachers dressed like their students and students dressed like their teachers! You all nailed it!

The second half of the school year is well underway. There are all kinds of learning happening in our schools. Check out the Centennial High School Band practicing in the Performing Arts Center!

Do you know of someone who lives outside the school district boundaries and wants to attend our schools? Enrollment applications are being accepted for the 2026-2027 school year.

The Centennial School District offers high-quality part-day and full-day preschool experiences designed to prepare students, ages 3-5, and their families for success in kindergarten. Our 4-Star Parent Aware rated program teaches both academic and social skills using a “learning-through-play” philosophy.

Full-day classrooms are located at each of the elementary schools in the Centennial School District; part-day classrooms, including the Outdoor Explorers class, are at the Early Childhood Center. Registrations received between February 2 – February 22 will be included in the placement lottery. Registration will remain open after the lottery for remaining seats. Available substitute positions (apply at My Kelly):

• Substitute Teachers: To qualify, you must have bachelor’s degree with MN Teaching or Substitute License; you can obtain a Short Call License if you have a bachelor’s degree.

• Substitute Paraprofessionals: To qualify, you must have a HS Diploma/GED.

Substitutes are also needed for Kids Club, food service, custodial, administrative assistants, and nurses. Application information for these positions can be found on the Centennial website.

CAEF is celebrating their 25th year at the 2026 CAEF GALA on Saturday, March 28 at Bunker Hills Golf Club. Come celebrate! Bring your friends and family for a night of fun.
