Don't let your leftover Halloween candy go to waste — send it into school!

📅 November 2–13 -- Send in your leftover/wrapped candy to school and help us turn those extra treats into smiles for our troops! All donated candy will be given to SEWA International, who will distribute it to our brave men and women serving our country!

💙💛 Let's show our troops some Flashes love and appreciation — one sweet treat at a time! Look for the "Candy Monsters" at the front entrance of all 3 schools!

As the holiday season approaches, we’re once again calling on our wonderful Florence Township community to come together and help make the season a little brighter for local families in need through our Annual Thanksgiving & Holiday Food and Gift Drive! ❤️

Every donation, big or small, makes a meaningful difference! Together, we can spread kindness, share the holiday spirit, and show what makes our Florence community so special!

What we’re collecting:

Nonperishable food items (see flyers below)

Other ways you can help:

• donate a turkey
• donate grocery/retail store gift cards
• sponsor a family to provide gifts for children and teens
• sponsor a food basket
• donate toiletries
• donate a monetary donation

Don't forget to call out your child (late or absent--Every day matters!)

1. Save a phone call and enter the child's attendance directly into Genesis on the morning the child will be absent through the Genesis Parent Portal:

• Click on "Attendance" in the left hand toolbar.
• Select "Notify Our Office."
• On the page, you can specify the student's absence, choose a date range and if you have multiple children in the district, you can indicate which one will be absent.
• A space is also provided for your to leave a brief explanation for the absence.

2. Call the school's Main Office number and press #1 for the attendance line by 8 am

3. Text the Attendance Officer at 609.374.4838

We strongly encourage you to call out your child each and every time they will be late or absent so we know they are safe & sound! Thank you for your cooperation!
