Prom Closet Success and Bring in Your Old Dresses!

Last week's Prom Closet event was a huge success! We gave away 18 gift cards for students to go out to dinner and get their hair and nails done. Also, the Bozeman Schools Foundation raised approximately $600 in donations (from students paying what they could for their prom attire).

If anyone has dresses at home that they would like to donate for future events, they can bring them to the GHS main office at ANY time!

Volunteers Needed

Many students have expressed that they would really enjoy if the library was open during the lunch hour. However, our librarians are busy supervising several clubs during the lunch hour. Project Connect has graciously volunteered to help coordinate supervision so the library can be open to support students.

If you are willing to help supervise the library at lunch, please follow the volunteer instructions at the Project Connect website (link here Project Connect) You can also reach out directly to Project Coordinator, Ashley Crane at 406-580-7760 or gallatinhighprojectconnect@gmail.com. Thank you!

Gallatin and BSD7 Gear

Don't forget you can order some Gallatin gear at this website. You can also order both BHS/GHS items at this website.

ROTARY YOUTH EXCHANGE HOST FAMILY OPPORTUNITY!!

Consider becoming an Exchange Student Host Family for a 3 month period between August 2025 and June 2026! This would be a wonderful opportunity for you and your family to get to know and establish a lifelong relationship with an incoming Gallatin High School male student from Germany who is very excited to be coming to Bozeman! Host Families consistently share what a great experience they have.

A Rotary Host Family may live in either the GHS or BHS school districts and can be single or married parents with or without children in the home. Each family offers a unique opportunity.

Please consider this opportunity and share the information with others who might be interested. Attached is a flyer about the Rotary Youth Exchange Host Family Program. For further information please contact Rotarian John Patterson (jspatterson972@gmail.com -or- 406-581-9767).

March Safety Information - Transportation Safety

You can nurture lifelong safety practices in different types of transportation by communicating the importance of following bus safety rules. Key points to discuss include:

  • Buckling up and remaining seated while the vehicle is in motion

  • Following the driver's instructions at all times

  • Keeping the aisles clear of backpacks and other items

  • Using indoor voices to avoid distracting the driver

  • Keeping hands, arms, and heads inside the vehicle

  • Being respectful to the driver and other passengers

  • Reporting any concerns or incidents to you or school authorities

Discuss emergency procedures and what they should do in case of any incidents or disruptions during the journey. Each year we are required to do two bus drills with students so you can ask them about their experience an what they learned. Stay informed about the transportation policies and procedures implemented by the school and address any concerns promptly with the appropriate authorities.
