LAST WEEK FOR THE BULLDOG DASH
Let's see if we can meet our 2nd goal! We are so close to $10,000. Please share this link with friends, family, and neighbors. 100% of funds raised go directly to our Heartland PTO to help fund rewards, awards, extra curricular events like basketball and Beta along with a variety of student centered events.

Greetings from the Principal
Hello Heartland Families,
I hope everyone has had a great weekend! It is hard to believe that we are 10 days out from our Fall break. This first quarter has gone very fast! As fall settles in, the students continue to settle in and get used to our routines.
This year we have adopted the theme of ONE SCHOOL-ONE FAMILY. Our focus is that while we are at school, we treat each other like family by being responsible for ourselves and respectful to others. Feel free to ask your child what is means to be responsible and respectful and ways we are working on that as a school.
Last Friday the following message was sent out regarding school pictures. We are sending it again, in case you need the information.
Get excited: HEARTLAND ELEMENTARY SCHOOL pictures taken on 09/10/2025 are ready!
Parents/guardians can view and order their student’s photos online.

REMINDER about MORNING DROP off and DRESS CODE
MORNING DROP OFF----
1. Students must be in their classrooms by 7:30AM as to not be counted tardy. If your child is a morning drop off, it is essential that they be dropped off BEFORE 7:30AM. To avoid being counted tardy that means students should be dropped off before 7:28AM. This gives them time to go to the cafeteria to get their breakfast and get back to their room. Also, please make sure your child is gathering their belongings and getting out of the car as soon as the car stops along the side walk. Waiting to pull up to a certain spot or door actually causes our line to slow down. We try very hard not to get backed up onto Ring Road.
DRESS CODE---
2. NO slides, clogs/UGS or flip flops- Crocs must be worn with strap on the back) NO RIPS IN JEANS above the knee and shorts as close to the knee as possible. No tank tops or thin straps on shirts or dresses.
Clear water bottles only please!
Thank you for your continued support for our students, staff and school. Wishing you and your student a wonderful week of school.
Respectfully,
Emily Campbell
Principal
