CGS Remote Instruction Plan 2025-2026

CGS Families,

Please click on the attachment below to learn more about our CGS Remote Instruction Plan. Clover Garden School will be implementing the use of Remote Instruction Days if needed for inclement weather or school emergency closures if needed for the remainder of the school year. Our school has a total of 5 Remote Instruction Days remaining if needed. Hopefully, we will not miss any more school days due to inclement weather, but just in case, our remote instruction plan is here to assist us with making up that missed instructional time. This will hopefully prevent us from having to add on additional school days at the end of the school year due to school closures.

Your student received an overview of the Remote Instruction Plan from their teachers this week.

Our website will be updated with resources soon!

Thank you for your cooperation and for reading the plan carefully and closely with your student so you and your student will know what to expect in the case that we must call for a Remote Instruction Day.

Please email administration with any questions or concerns!

Thanks,

Mrs. Vereyken

K-8 Campus Updates

Good Friday Evening Grizzly Families,

As we head into the final week before Spring Break, we want to take a moment to say thank you! Your continued support means everything to our school community, and we are so grateful for each and every one of you!

With the break just around the corner, we want to kindly remind our families to help keep school expectations front and center for our Grizzlies โ€” both academically and behaviorally. The finish line is in sight, but it hasn't crossed yet! Let's finish strong together.

๐Ÿป A Very Special Shout-Out ๐Ÿป

We would be remiss if we didn't pause and recognize two incredibly thoughtful parents, Mrs. Loftis and Mrs. Fernandez, who surprised our entire Kโ€“12 staff with much needed pre-Spring Break treat bags this past Thursday. THANK YOU! ๐Ÿ™Œ The timing was perfect and your kindness was deeply appreciated by every single member of our staff. (See photo below)

Have a wonderful weekend, Grizzly Families. We'll see you next week for one final push before we all enjoy a well-earned break!

All the BEST,

Leah Spencer

Welcome Deputy Logan to CGS - New School Resource Officer

Please help us welcome Deputy Logan to CGS! Deputy Logan is our new school resource officer. Read below to learn a little about him:

My name is Chadd Logan Breffle. I am 31 years old. I grew up in the Colorado Mountains, then moved to the Midwest state of Minnesota, where I met my beautiful Wife, and later moved to the beautiful state of North Carolina. I have always enjoyed simple country living, hunting, fishing, and many outdoor activities, and I have been with the sheriff's office for about 4 years. I have served as a patrol deputy and Detective with the Major Crimes Division, and I've recently transferred to the SRO division and became a Dare officer. I've always enjoyed working with kids and serving my community as a Law Enforcement officer, so it is an excellent fit for me.

Respectfully, Deputy C. Breffle

**Deputy Randolph had an amazing job opportunity and is no longer with the Alamance County Sheriff's Office. He will be missed by our CGS Community!!
