We had a few issues resolving grades last week on our end, but the 1st 9 Week report cards were delivered on parentsquare last Friday!
Note: Dual Credit Courses are not reported on the 1st & 3rd quarter report cards, but are still accessible on your student's ASU or McMurry course access through Blackboard or Canvas. Final DC Grades will be posted at each semester on the your student's report card.

Wildcats in Action
It was a short week at ACHS this week!
Our Prowlin' Growlin' Wildcat Marching Band competed at the Region 7 North UIL Marching Competition. Our band did a great job on Saturday Morning and got some great feedback on ways that we can continue to grow! While we did not advance, our band program looks to continue to improve! The band will transition into concert and sight reading season as the football season concludes!
Our High School Boys Football program had a needed bye week as they continued preparations for this week's game against Seymour!
Our High School Volleyball program continued the second pass through district play this week. The Varsity and JV girls made quick work of Olney on Tuesday, but both fell to Windthorst on Friday. Unfortunately, the JV suffered their first district loss of the season. The Varsity Lady Cats punched their ticket to the UIL State Playoffs and have an overall record of 22-13 and a district record of 4-3. The Lady Cats close out the regular season this week!
Our JH girls program are making their shift to basketball season!
JH One Act Play has been off and running! The players rehearse their show every Tuesday and Wednesday after school and are set to put together another exciting performance this year!

Wildcat Rising: Together We Rise
Together We Rise: WIN THE DAY
As we continue through the school year, I want to encourage our Wildcats to focus on the little things that lead to big successes. Sometimes we get so caught up in the bigger picture that we forget how important our daily habits are in determining our success.
Showing up on time, coming prepared, dressing appropriately, and approaching each day with a positive attitude are more than just school expectations—they are life skills that will serve our students long after they leave Archer City. We want our students to understand that how they present themselves, how they prepare, and the effort they give each day all play a role in the opportunities they create for themselves in the future. These are habits that successful people develop, and they don't happen overnight. They are built through consistency, accountability, and a willingness to take pride in the little things.
As parents, teachers, and community members, we all play an important role in helping our students develop these habits and understand why they matter. Our challenge to every Wildcat is simple: wake up each morning with the mindset that you are going to WIN THE DAY! We won't win every game, ace every test, or have everything go our way, but we can control our preparation, our attitude, and our effort. When we all commit to doing the little things right and giving our best each day, we build something much bigger than individual success. Winning habits create a winning culture, and when we each do our part, Together We Rise!
