DFP Family Update

March 27, 2026

DFP FamilyUpdateMarch 27, 2026

Welcome Spring!

Spring has arrived, and we’re excited to welcome the new season! In the classroom, we’re exploring all things weather—learning about different conditions and how we dress to stay comfortable throughout the day. Students continue to build independence and strengthen early academic skills through hands-on learning and play-based experiences. It’s wonderful to see their confidence grow!

As temperatures begin to change, we recommend sending your child in layers, as mornings can be cool while afternoons warm up quickly. Please also remember to label coats and jackets to help keep track of belongings. Sneakers are the best choice for safe and active play at preschool.

Thank you, as always, for your continued support.

Enjoy your weekend,

Julie Martin

At Daniel Feeney Preschool, we celebrate World Autism Awareness Day on April 2 by promoting kindness, inclusion, and understanding in ways that are meaningful and accessible for young children. Throughout the day, classrooms engage in simple, age-appropriate activities that highlight how everyone learns and experiences the world in their own unique way.

Children are invited to wear blue—the color associated with autism awareness—or dress in bright, fun colors to celebrate individuality. They might also choose to wear something that represents their favorite interest, helping us honor what makes each child special.
