PENN Staff Update

Dear PENN Families,

It is with mixed emotions that I share that one of our outstanding Assistant Principals, Christy Parthenakis, will be leaving Penn Elementary School after five years of dedicated service to our students, staff, and families.

Mrs. Parthenakis has accepted a new position as a Preschool Special Education Coordinator with Prince William County Public Schools. While we are excited for her as she begins this new chapter, we will greatly miss the passion, professionalism, care, and positive spirit that she brought to Penn each and every day.

Throughout her time at Penn, Christy has made a lasting impact on our school community through her commitment to supporting students, collaborating with staff, and building strong relationships with families. We are grateful for all she has done to help make Penn a wonderful place to learn and grow.

We are excited to welcome Mrs. K'Shaki Middleton to the Penn Elementary School family as our new Administrative Intern!

Mrs. Middleton joins us from Kerrydale Elementary School and brings a wealth of experience in both teaching and school leadership. She has served students, staff, and families in Prince William County Public Schools for over 10 years, building a strong reputation as a dedicated educator and administrator.

We are thrilled that Mrs. Middleton will be joining our team and know that her experience, expertise, and commitment to student success will be a tremendous asset to our school community. Please join us in extending a warm Penn welcome as she begins this exciting new role.
