...and the best way to the heart is through the stomach. We made sure all our teachers were well fed this week thanks to Ms. Elia, Ms. Guadalupe, our AP's, Ms. Walsh, CIS, and more... We hope you loved the gift cards from Austin Stone Church and our new 2025 Webb shirts!

Mr. Coyle was very proud to represent Webb and all the AISD secondary schools as a Principal of the Year Finalist at the 2025 Salute Awards. He didn't win, but there's no losing when you have this much support.

The news hit the students on Tuesday that Webb is part of a "restart" plan (along with Dobie and Burnet) that will replace teachers and admin for the upcoming school year. Students and parents organized a peaceful protest in the community and represented at this week's Board Meeting.

It is always a special day when we have our former students come to visit us and to hear all the awesome things they are doing now and in their future. I know not everyone was here when they were, but you can see just how special Webb is to them.

Students in the science classes are using all their learning from this year to work on Project-Based Lessons.

Well, not so much admitted, but allowed to visit. The students had a great day doing a scavenger hunt and learning all about Texas State and their pathway to college. Ms. Hernandez-James set up a great learning experience for all our students as part of our AVID program.

Over 300 Webb students and 50 teachers went to go see "EL Otro Oz" at the Bass Theater. They had an amazing time! Thank you to Mr. Carlson for setting this up.

While not focusing on how to make the school the best it can be, our student council likes to have fun, too. They enjoyed their visit to Austin Parks and Pizza with their advisor Ms. Villareal. It looks like a great time!

Middle School students from St. Andrew's Episcopal Church hosted a food drive to benefit CIS at Webb. We appreciate your donations to help any of our families in need.

and you'll see so many great things.

The Webb Band students played with Anthropos at Antones in downtown Austin. We can't wait to see you all at ACL next time : ) We are so proud of our band students.

The Track and Field Team took home lots of medals at the Track and Field Zone Finals. We are so proud of our athletes. Thank you for a great season, Coach De La Garza and Coach Sansano, and all our amazing student-athletes.

Hello Webb Families:

This is a reminder there will be a Community Meeting with Superintendent Segura on Monday, May 12th and 6:00 pm in the gymnasium. We will be discussing the district's turnaround plan for Webb for 2026. We hope you can make it.
