Tinney Eventing APRIL 2026

MOST EXCITING FIRST! The Royal Easter Show
The Sydney Royal Easter Show is always a favorite for us and apparently for our followers! The SIX BAR being the highlight with Gemma winning (again!) jumping Fernhill Aisling Star to 1.70! Sadly she (again) beat her father in the last round! (See embedded video)
Canberra was quiet with Stuart and Jaymee riding. (yes, correct Jaymee not Gemma) Stuart's new horse along-side Kerry Blair and Alice Weller as owners, is just starting his career! 'Jimmy' (Blacklist SF) is such a baby- another horse to start and move up the grades. 'Jimmy' is delightful and a pleasure to work with, hoping he will mature to be another super star! Jaymee has been joining the family eventing outings with one of our newish additions 'Thunder Force' an attractive T/B only 5 - we will see what 'Thunder' delivers in the future. It was truly lovely to have Jaymee's fun personality and seeing her pick up the reins again after a very long spell! She certainly has not lost her nerve or talent!
Los Angeles- LA28 Olympic Games
During April Stuart spent 2 weeks in America, one stop was to view the location for the Olympic Equestrian event 2028.
Santa Anita Park, is a historic horse racing venue and will be re-invented into the Equestrian site for LA28 Olympic Games. 'It is a super site with great footing plus facilities to work with, it is exciting to see it now and how it will evolve for the Games in 2028' quoted Stuart.
Whilst in America Stuart represented the HP program and Australian riders at the Kentucky 5* Event in Lexington. The Australian eventers now have the benefit of having Stuart as their lead, we hope to see some great results in the future heading towards LA28.
The winner of the 5* was one of our very own previous horses 'Diabolo' with Will Coleman- a very well polished ride and just heartfelt to see 'Dab' doing his job and loving it!
OUR SPONSORS
We have always had enormous respect for our sponsors and supporters, without their contribution it may be another story, maybe not an Olympic one. With GOLD and BRONZE medals and over 14 Australian team representations, coming in top 10 in 2 World Championships we THANK YOU from the bottom of our hearts that you have kept this Olympic dream available to us and our future.
