Dear Madonna Families,

As we look forward to next week, we are eager to gather for our Opening Mass with the students from Archbishop Jordan Catholic High School on Wednesday, September 18. In past years, this has been a truly beautiful time to pray together, reflect on our school journey, and give thanks to God for all that we have learned and shared. Parents are warmly invited to join us at ABJ on the football field—Mass will begin at 10:00 a.m.

We would also like to extend a heartfelt thank you to our families for their ongoing support of our school community. Whether it is signing up to help with swimming lessons, joining us for our annual Terry Fox Run on September 25, or simply staying connected and attending the September 17 Parent Council meeting, your presence and support mean so much. We are grateful for you and blessed to have you as part of our Madonna School team!

Parent Consent Forms

It is that time of year again when we need parents to log into your Powerschool account and fill out your yearly consent for technology use, communication and fieldtrips. Please note that these forms must be completed before your child's first field trip or they may be unable to participate.

If you have not filled out the Demographic form sent out in June please complete it. This gives the school the most current information for your child and family. Alberta Ed requires families to complete this form yearly.

Fee Waiver

If returning to school is a stressful time for your family, you may be eligible to have your school fees waived. Please read more about the EICS fee waiver policy and complete the following form if applicable. 2025-26 Fee Waiver Application.

Fee Waiver Information

Please ensure your classroom teacher has your child's completed registartion form turned in before Friday, Septemebr 19. Please see the Parent PowerSchool portal for fee payment. Many thanks!

SWIM FORMS 2025

Please call the school secretary, Mrs. Gaudet to have a parent volunteer package sent home with your child. Alternatively you can email her at mcs@eics.ab.ca

Order deadline: Wednesday, September 17th, 2025

If your child is in kindergarten, please make sure you are only ordering for the days your child is at school.

If your child is going to be absent (except for school trips or functions) on the day of the hot lunch, please make arrangements that day for your child's hot lunch before 11:00 am by calling the school or emailing us at Madonnahotlunch@gmail.com

All left over from Hot Lunch will be donated after 12:00 pm.

Complete the rest of the registration form. (Including your email address will ensure you receive reminder emails about hot lunch order deadlines, and your child's hot lunch order for the upcoming week)

Click the "Register Now" button at the bottom

Follow the instructions to add each child in your family who attends Madonna

Once your child(ren) are registered, click on "Orders"

Proceed to order hot lunch for your child(ren)

Payments: We accept hot lunch order payments by Credit Card (Through BAMBORA)

Join us at our first parent Council Meeting for this school year. We will meet on Wednesday, September 17 @ 6:30pm in our school collaboration room.
