The Trojan Triumph
October 3, 2025
From the Principal
Happy October! September was a full month for Centerburg High School students and staff. Our students are exceeding in academics and in extracurriculars. Centerburg High School received 4.5 Stars on the recently released State School Report Card. Last night our volleyball team clinched the KMAC title. The football team is doing great. The boys golf team placed 5th in the districts. Evie Stowe place tenth overall in the districts for girls gold. The FFA Soils Team have been very competitive this year.
During September, we also had Zach Green and Anthony Bowersock from the Knox County Health Department in to speak to student athletes about how vaping derails athletic performance. Yesterday, Mike Donahue spoke to our students in a school assembly about their personal value.
We also have one week left in the grading period. Parents, please check PowerSchool for your student's grades. If you have any questions or concerns, please don't hesitate to contact us.
Let's have a great October!

Cell Phone Policy
This is a reminder that students are not permitted to have their cell phones on during the instructional day (8:16am - 2:54pm). The first time a student is caught with their cell phone, it will be taken to the office and returned at the end of the day. The second time a student is caught, the phone will be taken to the office and a parent or guardian will have to pick it up after 2:54pm. After the second offense, the phone will need to be picked up by a parent and Saturday School will be assigned to the student. If you need to contact your student, call the office and we will get a message to your student.
