WOW! $73,101.86! A NEW DISTRICT RECORD!
I honestly don't know where to begin! I am absolutely blown away by the generosity, love, and support our MSC families and community have shown our school. What we accomplished together is simply incredible!
Monday was one of those days that reminded me just how special MSC really is. The weather was perfect, the energy was amazing, and seeing our students having the time of their lives made it all worthwhile!
To our incredible parent volunteers who gave up pretty much their entire day to help โ THANK YOU! We couldn't have done it without you. And a HUGE shoutout to our high school leadership students! You brought an unbelievable vibe and energy that took our event to another level!
More than anything, I want our families to know just how much your support means to our school, our students, and me personally. Every dollar raised goes right back into creating opportunities, experiences, and memories for our kids. That's what it's all about!
I say it often, but I mean it from the bottom of my heart โ I couldn't be prouder to be the principal of Middle School Central!
THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU! ๐

Important Announcements
Every Student. Every Opportunity. ๐
I want to make one thing very clear to all of our MSC families: NO student will EVER miss out on a field trip, school event, or special experience because of money. PERIOD! Parents should never have to worry about reaching out, explaining their financial situation, or asking for assistance. No questions asked, no explanations needed. We will make sure every student is taken care of, EVERY TIME!
For example, the $3 collected for today's Fall Fest goes directly to our Student Council. This money gives our student leaders the opportunity to make decisions, plan exciting activities, create new traditions, organize spirit events, and find creative ways to make MSC an even better place. I love giving our students a voice and allowing them to take ownership of their school!
๐ Fun Run Funds โ Where Does the Money Go?
I want to share a quick breakdown of our Fun Run expenses. Yes, a significant portion goes toward prizes, rewards, and event costs, but look at where that money is going โ RIGHT BACK TO OUR KIDS! From CJ Barrymore's to limo rides, special prizes, and an unforgettable Fun Run, it's all about rewarding our students and creating memories that will last!
FUNDRAISER EXPENSES
McDonald's Gift Cards โ 165 students ร $5: $825.00
CJ Barrymore's Tickets โ 99 students ร $34: $3,366.00
CJ Barrymore's Transportation โ estimated: $1,000.00
Custom Air Force Ones / Lululemon Bags โ 44 ร $150: $6,600.00
Premier Limo Experience โ 29 winners + 58 guests (87 total): $4,000.00
Fun Run Event Setup โ estimated: $2,000.00
Fundraiser Prizes & Supplies โ estimated: $6,000.00
Fun Run T-Shirts โ actual cost: $7,007.00
99Pledges Processing Fee โ 3.49%: $2,551.26
When I look at these numbers, I don't just see expenses. I see smiling faces, incredible opportunities, and memories our students will never forget. That's what this is all about!
๐ Celebrating Our Honor Roll Students! ๐ฎ๐
Hard work deserves to be celebrated, and we're going BIG at MSC!
This Friday, November 6th, we're recognizing our 1st Quarter Honor Roll students with a special morning breakfast to celebrate their academic achievements! Each student will also receive an MSC Honor Roll car sticker so parents can proudly show off their Lancer's accomplishments!
But we're not stopping there! We've also reserved a GAMING TRUCK to make the celebration even more exciting! ๐ฎ Students will be called down in groups throughout the day for an opportunity to enjoy some gaming fun with their classmates!
We couldn't be prouder of the hard work, dedication, and commitment these students have shown. They've earned this, and we can't wait to celebrate them!
Congratulations, Honor Roll Lancers! Keep up the amazing work! ๐
๐ 6th Grade Families โ Important Schedule Update!
As we begin the second quarter, we want to remind our 6th grade families that some students will have a change in their elective classes.
Please take a moment to check your child's schedule in PowerSchool to see if any changes have been made for the second quarter.
We appreciate your help in making sure our students know where they need to be as we kick off a great new quarter!
Thank you for your continued support! ๐
๐ฅจ November Perfect Attendance Challenge! ๐
We're kicking off a fun new attendance incentive at MSC! From November 3โ24, students who meet all four requirements will earn a chance to visit the Auntie Anne's Food Truck! ๐ฅจ
Here's how to qualify:
Perfect attendance
Be on the Lancer List
No Tardies
No disciplinary write-ups
All requirements must be met throughout November!
A Helpful Reminder for Families: Every school day matters! This is especially important during classroom testing and state assessments. When students miss these important testing days, scheduling makeups can be extremely challenging and often takes away from valuable classroom instruction. We appreciate your help in making school attendance a priority, especially on scheduled testing days!
Let's make November a great month of showing up, working hard, and making smart choices!
BE HERE. BE READY. BE A LANCER! ๐

๐ Morning Drop-Off & Parking Lot Safety Reminder
Just a friendly reminder to all MSC families that student safety is our number one priority!
Please DO NOT drop off students on Reimold Street. This creates an unsafe situation for students and drivers.
When exiting our parking lot, please follow the designated traffic pattern and drive around ALL cones. They are there for a reason โ to keep traffic moving safely and protect our students.
Most importantly, PLEASE SLOW DOWN AND BE PATIENT! I know mornings can be hectic and everyone has somewhere to be, but saving a minute or two is never worth putting a child's safety at risk.
Thank you for your cooperation and for helping us keep all of our Lancers safe! ๐
๐ Bus Drivers Needed & Important Bus Safety Reminder!
WE NEED BUS DRIVERS! ๐
Our district is actively looking for bus drivers, and we need your help spreading the word! If you or someone you know might be interested, please consider applying with L'Anse Creuse Public Schools.
๐ CLICK HERE TO APPLY โ LCPS EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITIES
We also want to sincerely apologize for any bus delays or inconveniences our families have experienced. We understand how frustrating this can be, especially when you're trying to get your children to and from school on time. We appreciate your patience and understanding as the district continues working through its driver shortage.
๐ฑ IMPORTANT REMINDER โ CELL PHONES ON BUSES
On a separate note, I recently reminded our students that recording other students, making TikToks, or taking videos on the bus is NOT permitted. If this behavior continues, students involved will lose their phone privileges on the bus.
Parents, please take a moment to have this conversation with your child. Every student deserves to feel safe and comfortable on their ride to and from school, and we need everyone's cooperation to make that happen.

๐ Lancer List: The Heart of MSC ๐
At Middle School Central, the Lancer List is everything. More than just a reward system, it is the foundation of our school culture and reflects our commitment to helping every student succeed both academically and socially. Students earn their place on the Lancer List by consistently demonstrating our MSC expectations: Make Smart Choices, Show Up & Be Prepared, and Commitment to Learning. Students who meet these expectations gain access to many of the experiences that make middle school memorable, including dances, assemblies, field trips, athletics, extracurricular activities, and other special events. The Lancer List isn't about perfectionโit's about accountability, growth, and making positive choices every day. At MSC, we believe that when students embrace the Lancer List, they are building habits that will lead to success both inside and outside the classroom. Lancer List is who we are, and it drives everything we do.
