Hutchinson Herald
Weekly Bulletin 8/31- 9/4
OUR MISSION is to cultivate a positive community of engaged critical thinkers.
OUR VISION is for all students to access high quality curriculum, engaging instructional activities, and a supportive learning environment,
WE ARE COMMITTED to closing the gap for our students who are below grade level while still ensuring that every student makes continuous growth each year.
It was great to see our Hutchinson community come together for our Band Room Grand Opening and Back to School Night! We love to see our parents and Hawk families come to support each other at our school events. It was great to meet many of you in person, hope to continue to see everyone at our school events throughout the school year.
Thank you to everyone involved with Friday's Color Games! Even through the weather the students had a great time participating. Thank to all of the students and families that were able to participate in the fundraiser, all proceeds go back to our students so it is greatly appreciated.
I want to continue to invite and encourage all parents/guardians to become actively involved at Hutchinson Middle School. Opportunities include joining parent organizations such as the Parent Teacher Student Association (PTSA) @hutchfriends on Instagram, School Site Council (SSC), and the English Learner Advisory Committee (ELAC), as well as attending school events throughout the year.
