North Texas Giving Day is Thursday, September 17th

Join us for an 18-hour giving extravaganza to benefit our local nonprofits and make a difference here at home. In eleven years, this online event has transformed from an idea to help raise awareness of nonprofits to a movement that has ignited a broad culture of community-wide giving. During North Texas Giving Day, everyone can be a philanthropist to build a stronger and more vibrant community.

Hello Bulldogs!

It was great to see students during their ELA classes this week! I will continue joining classes for library orientation next week to let them know how to access books, databases, and more from the DJMS Library Canvas course. Please sign up for the course using the link below.

If you currently have a book checked out from DJMS or Lillard, our book drop bin is located outside by the backdoors between the gym and cafeteria doors. Books can be dropped in the bin any time.

Students are expected to log into classes during every scheduled class period. For example, when 1st period begins at 8:45 AM, students will be expected to have logged into their Canvas account and be ready to join their 1st period teacher for instructional time.

Students will need to log into Canvas, the learning management system (LMS), used to deliver course content and link with their teacher and classmates on Microsoft TEAMS, as well as familiarize themselves with the course expectations and guidelines.

You can access Canvas by logging into ClassLink, then clicking on MISD Canvas icon. It is important that you access Canvas through Classlink because that ensures you are logged into all other necessary applications like GoogleDocs.
