Academy Announcements

Dear Academy families and friends,

The Academy Ambassadors kicked off the new year together this week. We're excited to get this group of dynamic student leaders together to help give us more student voice and input. They will be working on issues from planning community service learning projects as well as school spirit weeks and events similar to a student council.

The 5th grade will be going on a field trip to the New England Wildlife Center on Tuesday and then we have Picture Day on October 19th, followed by Bus Safety/Evacuation Practice on Friday, October 20th. We are also excited to announce the Trunk or Treat on Sunday, October 22 from 3-4pm. Let's hope it's a cool, dry fall day like today!

We also are looking forward to the return of the annual Pumpkins and Poems contest. Each and every year it gets better and better. Please see the button below for the details. Entries can be dropped off on October 25-27...remember, no carved pumpkins please.

Another beautiful fall weekend in the books! Looks like a great week ahead!

Staffing Matters

Looking for some part time work. In addition to hiring building substitutes, we are looking for a dynamic person to work along side our ELL teacher Ms. Molly Louzan! The position is for 18 hours per week support our English Language Learners. Please send all inquiries to Mr. Higgins.
