Dear Families,

It has been wonderful to be back in school. As happens over vacation, some children visibly grew and several teeth were lost. Students and teachers are now diving into the final units of study. The last day of school is June 16.

Tag Sale: The WES Tag Sale is TOMORROW, May 3, from 9 am - 2 pm. It is a major fundraiser for FOWE, bringing in income comparable to the annual appeal. The quantity and quality of donations for sale are quite remarkable! Thanks to all the volunteers who have done the Herculean work of organizing and setting it up. There are still a few volunteer slots open for tomorrow’s sale and cleanup. Please see Volunteer Signup Sheet.

Lunch volunteers - We need volunteers for Monday, Thursday and Friday next week. If you can volunteer for one of these days, please email me cjohnston@acsdvt.org or sign up directly on the calendar.

Best, Christina

Substitute teachers are crucial for our students, staff, staff, and schools! We are increasing our daily substitute teaching rate to $160/day for unlicensed subs and $200/day for licensed subs. This change begins on Wednesday, March 5, 2025 when students return from winter break. This flat rate replaces our sliding rate of pay for subs depending on the number of days worked.

To apply, you can email your interest to HR@acsdvt.org with "Substitute Position" in the subject line. You can also visit this listing on school spring.

We found a tricycle on our playground during the April break. If it is yours please stop by to pick it up.
