Note from Mrs. Sturdivant Note from Mrs. Sturdivant

As testing season approaches, we emphasize the crucial role of regular attendance in your child's academic success. Consistent presence in school ensures your child doesn't miss vital instruction and preparation for upcoming assessments, which are key to understanding their progress and needs.

Missing school can significantly impact learning, particularly during this critical period. We understand unavoidable absences happen, but encourage your child to be in school as much as possible to maximize their learning opportunities.

To support your child's success, please ensure they have a consistent routine, adequate sleep, and a healthy breakfast. These factors greatly contribute to their ability to perform well in school.

If you have concerns about attendance or need support, please contact us. Together, we can ensure your child achieves their full potential.

Join in as we collect cereal next Thursday, March 7, 2024. Bring in those cereal boxes starting Monday, March 4, 2024 and going through Thursday March 7, 2024, and we will make a donation to local food pantries. Thank you for partnering with us on this project!

What’s Growing On in the CLES Garden What’s Growing On in the CLES Garden

A huge Shout Out to our 3rd and 4th grade students for planting seeds for our upcoming plant sale! You all did a great job and we can’t wait to see our plants begin to grow!

March 8th & March 12th - First and Second Grade students will have a garden lesson with our Faulkner County Extension agent, Ms. Krista Quinn. We are excited to learn more about potatoes. Weather permitting, students will also get to plant sugar snap peas, potatoes, kale, and spring onions.

If you would like to become a garden volunteer please Email Jill at jillsteed2015@gmail.com
