Dear Boone Elementary Families and Community,

It is with great pride and excitement that I introduce myself as the new principal of Boone Elementary. My name is Venitra Senegal, and I have 27 years of experience in education, including 14 years as an elementary administrator. I am honored to serve this incredible school and community, and I look forward to building strong, positive, and inclusive partnerships with each of you.

This year, our guiding theme is “We Before Me.” This powerful message reflects our commitment to working together to meet the needs of our students, families, and the broader community. At Boone Elementary, we believe that when we unite in purpose and support one another, we create a thriving environment where every child can succeed.

Early Pick Up Time Ends: 2:50pm

Dismissal: 3:20pm

• Kindergarten - 10:30- 11:00am
• First Grade- 11:35- 12:05pm
• Second Grade- 11:40- 12:10pm
• Third Grade- 12:10- 12:40pm
• Fourth Grade- 12:50- 1:20pm

Begininng September 15, 2025 Parents are invited to come on their child's Parent Lunch Day to enjoy lunch with their child. Parents may only eat with thier child in the designated Parent Lunch Table Area.

Parent Lunch Days

• Fourth Grade- Mondays
• Third Grade- Tuesdays
• Second Grade-Wednesdays
• First Grade- Thursdays
• Kindergarten- Fridays

Please ensure that your child wear their transpiration tag to school daily so we are able to ensure your child gets home with the correct dismissal.

Carrider Dismissal- we will be moving to a number system this week, each student will be given a number tag for parents to hang in their mirror to help car rider duty move fasters.

Bus Riders- Students will be given their Smart Tags to wear daily to school.

Kindergarten Walker-Pick up is at the gate near the kindergarten building, parents must have Walker tags to pick up students.

1st- 4th Grade Walkers- Meet students at the Tree near the gate at the back of the school.

Please do not part in the parking lot near Olle for walker pickup.

August 18, 2025- Alief Begining of the Year Forms go Home

August 22, 2025- Alief Beginning of the Year Forms are due!

August 27, 2025- Coffee & Conversations with the Principal @ 8:00am- 9:00am

August 28, 2025- Community Outreach Committee- Planning Events for the year (virtual meeting)

Sign up for Parent Square to receive information related to campus events, district events, and about your child.

Class Dojo- Sign up for the campus and your child's teacher Class Dojo account to recieve information about your child's progress with behavior progress. Class Dojo will be used to track students positive behavior points and to communicate with your child's teacher.
