BULLDOG BULLETIN

February 13, 2026

BULLDOGBULLETINFebruary 13, 2026

Dear Bulldog Families,

I would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to our incredible PTO and dedicated Room Parents for organizing such a fun-filled afternoon for our students yesterday. Our Valentine’s Day parties were a wonderful success! Classrooms were filled with laughter as students played games, created crafts, exchanged valentines, and made joyful memories with their one another. We truly appreciate the time, effort, and thoughtful planning that goes into creating an organized and engaging experience for our students!

We are also looking forward to upcoming PTO events, including our Culver’s Night! You may even spot some of your teachers behind the counter serving up smiles—or enjoying dinner right alongside you. We hope to see many of you there for another great opportunity to connect as a school community.

A friendly reminder that Monday is Presidents’ Day, and there will be no school. I hope you enjoy the long weekend, take advantage of the warmer temperatures, and spend some time soaking up the sunshine-it is finally back!

Fondly,

Dr. Colleen Conway

Flu Season Information

Flu Season Information

As we continue into flu season, please see below for important reminders from the Health Office Team:

  • Please be sure to monitor your student for flu-like symptoms (e.g., persistent cough, sore throat, fever, body aches)

  • If your student is experiencing any exclusionary symptoms (such as a fever above 100.4, vomiting or diarrhea), please do not send them to school

  • During this time, preventative measures such as covering your cough, hand-washing, and others can prevent the spread of illness; please be sure to review these strategies with your child at home

For more information on the flu, families can access the Lake County Health Department resource HERE (Spanish version HERE).
