The first of GLOBE's 'Meet the Board' events happens this Friday, February 13, from 8:30am at Kin Coffee on Peachtree Road, Chamblee.

Read Across America Book Character Dress Up Day - March 6
March is National Reading Month, and to celebrate, our K–4 grade students will be celebrating Read Across America Day at Community Circle on Friday, March 6!Students will have the opportunity to dress up as a character from one of their favorite books, and are encouraged to bring that book to school with them that day. Looking for some new books to add to your collection? Check out these themed book lists!

New Book Returns Courtesy of the PTCC
Thanks to the generosity of the PTCC, the Lower Campus Library has acquired book return bins for every building. These bins will make it easier for students to return their library books. Once a student finishes their book, they need only drop it in the book return in their building. Ms. Stowe has been going over proper procedures for using the book returns during library visits. Please be sure to thank GLOBE's PTCC for making library book borrowing even more accessible at GLOBE!
Overdue Notices
If you have a question or concern about a library book overdue notice, please reach out to Ms. Stowe directly. Overdue emails are automatically sent via our library system, and Ms. Stowe will not see your reply if you reply directly to the overdue notice. Ms. Stowe can be reached by email, here.
2026-27 Lottery
GLOBE’s Open Enrollment period is January 26, 2026 to February 20, 2026. If you have a new sibling to enroll for the 2026-27 school year, you must submit a lottery application through Lotterease during Open Enrollment. The Lottery will take place on Friday, February 27, 2026.

The 2026 PTCC GLOBE Auction and Hootenanny
The online Auction is set for March 20-21, with our live event celebration happening at Napoleon’s on Saturday, March 21. This year’s Hootenanny will feature Her Majesty’s Request, a British Rock Cover band. Tickets go on sale very soon so keep an eye out!!
In the meantime, we need help going door-to-door to our favorite businesses to request donations. Please email ptccglobeauction@gmail.com if you can help out!
