π Argyle ISD Wellness Corner: Clean Hands, Healthy Schools
As the cold, flu, and respiratory illness season gets underway, one of the easiest healthy habits for Argyle ISD students is also one of the most effective: wash those hands!
Remind children to wash before eating, after using the restroom, after coughing or blowing their nose, after playing outside, and when they get home from school.
For younger kids, practice the five steps together: Wet β Lather β Scrub β Rinse β Dry.
For older students, don't forget the phones, keyboards, athletic equipment, and other frequently handled items that travel with us throughout the day.
Make the 20-second handwash a habit.
