St Bonaventure's
Exam Results Edition
Dear Parents and Carers,
I hope you are well and that you enjoyed a restful summer break.
This summer’s exam results were a moment of celebration. Our Year 13 pupils achieved record-breaking grades and are moving confidently on to the next stage of their education. Our Year 11 students also made us very proud with strong results, including some outstanding individual achievements.
The start of a new school year is always an exciting time. It gives us all a fresh start and the chance to look ahead with energy and hope. This week, we have been delighted to welcome our new Year 7 and Year 12 students, as well as those moving into new year groups. The term has begun very positively, and our pupils have made an excellent start.
Please continue to keep the school in your prayers. I look forward to seeing all our pupils grow both academically and spiritually over the coming year and achieve their full potential.
God Bless
Mr C McCormack
Headteacher

Congratulations to all the students who have made themselves, their families, and the whole school community proud. This success reinforces the school’s reputation as one of the leading academic and vocational 6th forms in the London Borough of Newham.

Despite national changes and a year group without KS2 baseline data, the school has continued to deliver strong outcomes for the vast majority of students. Most progress successfully into Key Stage 5 with a wide range of options available, and many choose to continue their journey at St Bonaventure’s Sixth Form.
Among the top individual performances, Nash secured eight grade 9s and two grade 8s, Zachary excelled with eight grade 9s and two grade 7s, and Head Boy, Reuben achieved two grade 9s, three grade 8s, three grade 7s and one grade 6.
We were very excited to welcome our new Year 7 students this week.
Our teachers and older students helped them settle in and feel part of the school community. They took part in fun activities, made new friends, and got to know their way around the school.
By the end of the week, they were already feeling more at home and ready to begin their new journey with confidence.
