Family Game Night November 5th
Election Day November 3rd
On Tuesday, November 3 our campus will serve as a polling location for the Midterm General Election. Due to this, you will notice additional activity on campus from 6 AM-9 PM. Polls will be open from 7 AM-8 PM in Room 34.
Our school and district staff have planned accordingly to ensure that there will be minimal disruptions to the school day during voting times. Additionally, hired security will be present on campus to help ensure that voters remain within designated voting areas.
Thank you for your understanding.
Monitored Lockdown drill Wednesday, November 4
On Wednesday, November 4, we will conduct a monitored lockdown drill at Clairmont. Please know that this is only a drill! To help keep everyone safe, we practice four lockdown drills each year so students and staff know what to do in the event of an emergency. We understand that these drills can sometimes feel concerning, but practicing helps our school community feel prepared and confident. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact Mrs. Johnston or Mrs. Handel in the office. Thank you for your continued support in keeping our Bulldogs safe!
Coffee with the Principal November 18th
Coffee with the Principal Update: This month’s Coffee with the Principal will be postponed until Wednesday, November 18th. We truly value your thoughts, ideas, and input as part of the Clairmont community! With our monitored lockdown drill scheduled for this Wednesday and the November 11th holiday, November 18th is the first opportunity for us to gather this month. We look forward to seeing you, hearing your thoughts, and enjoying some time together!

Have You Reported Your Students' Absence?
If your student will be absent, please call the school office at (209) 953-8267, Option 3, to report the absence. Promptly reporting absences helps us ensure the safety of all students and maintain accurate attendance records.
If your child has a medical or dental appointment, please send them back to school with a note from the doctor's or dentist's office so the absence can be appropriately documented.
It is also important that students arrive at school on time and ready to learn. Students should be on the blacktop by 7:55 a.m. so they are prepared for the start of the school day. Instruction begins promptly at 8:00 a.m., and students are expected to be in their classrooms and ready to learn at that time.
Students arriving after 8:00 a.m. must report to the office to receive a tardy slip before going to class. Even a few minutes of lost instructional time can make a difference. Students who arrive late miss important morning routines, warm-up activities, and instruction that help set the tone for a successful day of learning.
Thank you for partnering with us to ensure every Clairmont student has the best opportunity to succeed!
Cell Phone Policy
BE PRESENT: Phones down, heads up. Lodi USD is committed to creating connections in the classroom. Starting this school year, students will be expected to keep their phones turned off during the school day - including lunches, breaks, and passing periods - as part of the district-wide initiative to Be Present. This initiative is designed to support a more focused learning environment while encouraging real, in-person connection outside of the digital world.
Please talk with your student(s) about this new initiative and the positive benefits associated with disconnecting during the school day. We believe that this initiative, over time, will support a more focused learning environment and encourage student connection outside of the digital world. You can find more information on the policy, the benefits, and frequently asked questions here.
