Student Achievement

National Suicide Prevention Month

In recognition of National Suicide Awareness Month, the kids learned about the warning signs to look for, if they or someone they love is suffering with their mental health and thinking of suicide. Additionally, they learned ways to get the help they need, when in crisis. The students took the pledge to ask the tough queestions, regarding suicide, "Are you thinking of suicide?" and/or "Can you help me get the help I need?"

Climate and Culture

Guest speaker Mr. Michael Frampus

In recognition of National Recovery Month, NEXT Wednesday, September 30 at 1:00p, we will have guest speaker, Mr. Michael Frampus, join in a Google Meet, to share his personal story of Recovery which led to his career as a Social Worker, working within the Atlantic County Recovery Court System. Along with his personal story, he will also explain the processes and procedures related to Recovery Court, detailing how the system functions. Please join us on Wednesday, September 30th at 1:00p (on Mrs. Russo's Google Meet Link: https://meet.google.com/lookup/hfapkj3ink) to hear a remarkable story about an amazing man of our very own community. *Students, Your attendance at this event will provide extra credit (attendance or academic) for the class of your choice!
