Great Things Happening at Como
January Athletics Update
Como Park is thrilled to add monthly updates about our athletic program. Please click here for the January updates and highlights of Girls Basketball, Boys Basketball, Wrestling and Boys Swimming. Go Cougars!
It's great when things go the way they went for Como Park's MCJROTC at a drill meet as important as the Ben Davis Drill Competition in Indiana. Eight great JROTC drill teams traveled to Indiana to compete putting up a fight to just place at anything. 32 of our cadets proved to be all that. Placing well in four of the six teams we competed at. Cadet Sergeant Nally See selected as top/best unit leader/commander. Awesome, disciplined, and focused. Congratulations Cougars!
On January 28th, 2025 Como Park Girls Basketball celebrated their 2025 Seniors:
Cecelia Davis
Makyia Kenney
Jailyn Walker
A’Dream Hart (Stats/Manager)
We are very proud of these young ladies and can’t wait to see what the next chapter holds for them all! Thanks to all the teachers, families and fans that came out to support. Big thanks to Mr. Erickson for his amazing voice and help with the program and a huge shout out to Sgt. Major and his color guard. JROTC has been amazing and always ready to be there! Thank you to Mr. Tran for providing us with a few of his students from choir to sing the National Anthem!
