We hope you enjoyed your long weekend and that the students are ready to get back to learning! Thursday we sent home information on our annual fundraiser. If you had a student at MPMS last year, it is the same pick-a-date donation platform we used last year. We found this to be easy for families to complete and it doesn't require collecting money or distributing items. Supporters are able to make straight donations to our school which help us with Oiler Drop days, end of year field trips, classroom supplies and more! Information and a how-to video is included below. Please get your student signed up ASAP - we go LIVE on Wednesday! This fundraiser is incredibly important to us and we appreciate your participation!

Donations for Hoops for Hunger are due this Friday and permission slips must be turned in a week later. If your student wishes to attend on November 2nd, please see the flyer below for all the details!

Attention Parents and Guardians of MPPS students utilizing the school bus for transportation. Please review the following information.

You may enroll your student in transportation at the following link.

If your current student has not rode the bus recently you need to re-enroll the student(s) using the link above.
School starts August 20, 2026. The cut off date to sign up for transportation for the week of school is August 7th. If you sign up after August 7th, your student will be able to ride starting the week of August 24th.

You are encouraged to download the parent app My Ride K-12 https://myridek12.tylerapp.com/login . If you have any questions please call 989-775-2323 x 32810. The Transportation Department will call you back if we miss your call please leave a detailed message. On August 18th you will be able to locate your student(s) pick up and drop off time using this app. There are several options within the app under the settings.

Most badges will be available at the orientations and back to school events. If your child does not receive their badge before school, the driver will have their badge the during the first week of school.
