Message from Mr. Imbusch
Dear students, staff, and parents/guardians:
Last Monday evening, Town Meeting voted to approve article 12 (WHS Renovation/Addition). This is great news for the whole community, and I would like to publicly thank the various Town committees and RTM’s that voted to support this project.
The plan, which has been in the works for a number of years, prioritizes the following:
It addresses the Science and STEM facilities
It addresses our underserved music, physical education and athletic programs
It enhances student services and allows for a flexible multi-purpose space
It improves the entire exterior high school site for areas such as parking, site traffic and pedestrian safety.
This website will provide you with information about the project, including a series of FAQ’s and interior floorplans (some with QR codes that allow you to see 3D interior modeling). I look forward to seeing these plans become a reality over the next two years.
Have a wonderful weekend.
Sincerely,
Stephen Imbusch
Principal
Students can come to the large conference room during their Study, at Snacktime, or at lunch.

November 15th WMS/WHS Skating Event
We are excited to offer a social gathering for Middle and High school students in the METCO Program and Walpole resident students. This opportunity will allow them to come together for an afternoon of skating and pizza.
The social gathering will take place in Boston at Chez Vous Skating Rink on Friday, November 15th, from 12:30 -2:30pm. Students are encouraged to sign up for the event. This event is free and food will be provided. Transportation will be provided from Walpole Middle and High School to Chez Vous, and return to Walpole High School around 3:30pm. There is space for fifty Walpole resident students to attend. Twenty-five from each school. My hope is to have two counselors/staff from the middle school and high school to attend and assist as chaperone. Because this is an event for students only, parents are not required to join. Parents do have the option of meeting us there. Students in the METCO program must be picked up from Chez Vous Skating Rink by 2:30pm
Parents/students must sign up via the Google form:. Please fill out this Google Form
Permission Slips must be returned by Thursday, October 31, 2024
Please let me know if you have any questions or concerns.
