We want to ensure a common communication platform is in place so that we can support your student in all ways possible!

I am a parent of two Sladek Boys within the MVR3 school district. So I have a slight advantage or at least a parent perspective when it comes to helping lead here at Zitzman Elementary. One of the things I have been learning a leader and as a parent is the new ROOMs App.

Do you have the MVR3 App and are you connected through ROOMs?

I am going to try to help get you set up with the district app and our communication platform, Rooms. This is a nice break and chance for me to help you so that we can continue positive and 2-way communication into Trimester 2.

First things first is you need the MVR3 app. I went to my app store and just typed in MVR3 ... the purple chief head is our district app - you need this app in order to access the ROOMs communication app.

Once you are in the district app... see the step by step examples and directions below:

Open the MVR 3 App

Make sure you are on the Rooms App in the bottom right corner and not the District "School" App.

Then on the left corner tap the Menu button.

Settings

Once you are in the menu you will see your students and you can toggle between them. To confirm you have notifications correct click on the right corner Settings gear.

Notifications

Once you are in your settings we will work through each of the options. First option is the notification preferences. Tap that title.

You will want to click through each option;

messages
announcements and
groups

Make sure it is Purple if you want notifications for messages

Make sure it is Purple if you want notifications for announcements & the daily digest

Subscriptions

Click the schools that you want to be able to view. They should have a check mark next to them if you WANT to be in the know!

Default Organization

You can only have ONE DEFAULT organization so please have a check mark by clicking next to the one you want your app defaulted to.

Lost & Found is Full Again!

Our lost and found is located in the SACC hallway. If you would like to check it out during school hours, please come to the main entrance. If you would like to look through it from 6-8am or 4-6pm please go through the SACC entrance...all coats, jackets, and belongings that are unclaimed will be donated to the Agape House over Christmas Break.

*If there are warm days that pop up during the next few weeks, we will move it outside for everyone to browse. Teachers do take classes by the lost and found frequently but these are still unclaimed!

Adopt a Family Form for the Holiday Season

These forms are due BY MONDAY DEC. 2nd - this will be your last reminder!

All students were sent home with an Adopt-A-Family form in their Thursday Folder. This is for families to fill out and send back Zitzman Elementary if your family is needing assistance this year during the holiday season.

Little League Basketball: Registration is open now through December 1st.

Pacific Little League CO-ED Basketball Program Registration

Please complete this registration form below if you are interested in your child participating in the Little League Basketball Program.
Girls and boys in grades 1st through 4th grade from our elementary buildings are eligible to participate.
All games will be played on Saturdays at Riverbend School (2085 Highway N in Pacific).
Student participation will determine program organization and scheduling of games.

1ST AND 2ND GRADE STUDENTS:
Students in 1st and 2nd grades will form teams to compete against each other.
The basketball season for 1st and 2nd grade will start in January after Winter Break and conclude in February.

3RD AND 4TH GRADE STUDENTS:
Students in 3rd and 4th grades will form teams to compete against each other.
The basketball season for 3rd and 4th grades will start in late February and finish in March.

Registration is open now through December 1st.
There will be a $25.00 fee due once registration is complete.

All Things PTO:

Regular meetings will occur on the third Wednesday of each month at 4:00pm. There will be childcare provided by PTO if you are unable to find childcare for you kiddo and want to attend!
