Rogers High School - 2023/24 Dates to Remember

The Rogers Theatre Company along with the MHS Drama Club is presenting the Christmas production “A Christmas Carol." The classic Charles Dickens story will be presented in the Middletown High School cafetorium at 7pm, tonight and tomorrow night, December 8th and 9th. You don’t want to miss this memorable production! Tickets will be available at the door - $5.00 general admission. See you there”

Attention juniors! Jumpstart your career, get real-world work experience, earn up to $4,200 and begin to build your professional network through the PrepareRI summer internship program! The application for a summer 2024 internship will open to high school juniors on November 1. Many of the scholarships listed are online scholarships. The general rule is if the scholarship listed has a link that means the application is online. If the scholarship on the list does not have an online link then the paper application is in Guidance in the filing cabinet under the "Scholarship" sign! (To the right of Ms. Gorman's desk)

For every scholarship you apply for you will need to fill out a Blue Transcript Request form. Those forms are available in Guidance on the table in front of Ms. Gorman's desk. If you are not able to come to Guidance you can email Ms. Gorman @ joanngorman@npsri.net and she will forward you an electronic fillable form.

Impact Aid Program Survey Forms have been distributed by all of our schools. We need every parent to fill out these forms because they directly impact how much federal funding Newport Public Schools receive! Completed forms need to be returned to your child’s school as soon as possible.
