Homecoming Dance - "New York State of Mind"
Afternoon Student Pick-Up Reminder
To help keep afternoon dismissal safe and orderly for everyone, we ask that families picking up students use the designated pull-through pick-up lane only. Please do not pull into, park in, or drive through the staff parking lot.
We’ve had several safety and access concerns in the staff lot, including damage to staff vehicles, a bus being unable to exit while transporting students with special needs, and near misses involving staff walking to their vehicles.
The easiest way to access the pick-up line is to drive all the way around the school grounds, turning left toward the stadium first. This route will naturally position you in the pick-up line without needing to turn around in the staff lot or use an alternate pick-up method.
Thank you for following these expectations and helping us maintain a safe, smooth, and orderly pick-up experience for all of our students, families, and staff!
Audition for the Act 2 Fall Play!

What We Did in Seminar Today
No Seminar due to the Homecoming Pep Assembly!
PCHS Monthly Character Strength
Across the month of September, we will capitalize on opportunities to put the character strength of ENTHUSIASM to work as a school community, during Seminar, class time, and in the day-to-day of our building. Take advantage of opportunities to touch upon this strength at home! In the image below, you can see the rationale for why the Leadership Class selected this strength to be the focus at the start of our school year.
Want to engage with this character strength at home? Check out this family resource page: https://posproject.org/p2-for-families/9-12/enthusiasm/ You’ll find 1 quote, 1 video, and 3 questions to help you and your children discuss The Positivity Project’s character strength of enthusiasm.

Class of 2027 Event Calendar
Please review the end of the school year dates and plan accordingly! With the last week of school coinciding with Memorial Weekend, the traditional timing of some of our Senior events, including graduation, have been adjusted. We are excited to try an evening graduation ceremony! But we also want to be sure you have ample time to prepare and schedule accordingly, especially with this year's commencement falling on a week night.
