Dear Bristol Warren Families,

Welcome to the start of an exciting 2026–2027 school year in the Bristol Warren Regional School District! I hope your summer was full of wonderful memories and time to relax and recharge. Our educators and staff are thrilled to welcome your children back to our classrooms for another year of discovery, growth, and meaningful learning opportunities.

We deeply value your partnership and encourage active involvement in your child’s educational journey. Whether you volunteer, attend school events, or celebrate everyday achievements at home, your involvement plays an important role in your child’s success.

Throughout the year, we will keep you informed about important dates, events, and school news through our newsletters and communication channels. We also welcome your questions, concerns, and suggestions and are always available to listen and support you.

The safety and well-being of our students and staff remains our highest priorities. In partnership with local law enforcement and community safety leaders, we continuously review and strengthen our safety measures across all schools. Our dedicated School Resource Officers and local police will maintain a consistent, reassuring presence at our facilities during the opening week and throughout the entire school year.

As we open our doors, we also want to share a brief update on facility improvements being completed as part of our Capital Projects Plan. Construction teams made significant progress over the summer at Hugh Cole, KMS, Rockwell and at the new high school facility. A few finishing touches remain, and we greatly appreciate your patience and flexibility as our contractors, construction teams, and facilities and maintenance staff members complete these final enhancements. These investments will help ensure our schools provide welcoming, high-quality environments for teaching and learning.

Ahead of the first day of school on Monday, August 31, 2026, please visit our district website to review essential resources, including the 26-27 School Year Calendar and updated bus schedules. We also invite you to attend your school’s upcoming Open House events and take the opportunity to connect with teachers and staff. Please review any emails from your child’s principal with any updates for drop-off and pick-up in these first few weeks.

Thank you for your continued support, partnership, and trust. Together, we will make the 2026–2027 school year a memorable, meaningful, and successful one for every student.

With our children in mind,

Ana C. Riley
