This important survey provides valuable insight into our growth as a school community and helps us better support our students as they develop leadership skills for both school and life.

Your voice as a family and/or community member is essential. The MRA allows us to reflect on our progress, celebrate our strengths, and identify meaningful opportunities for growth. Most importantly, it helps ensure we are creating a school culture where leadership, ownership, and empowerment are not just concepts but daily practice.

Congratulations to our Teacher of the Year, Mrs. Bossak! Mrs. Bossak is our School Counselor and an essential member of our school community! She is in charge of classroom guidance lessons, our annual Career Day, our 504 Coordinator, she works closely with our military liaison, and supports staff, teachers, and students individually and in group settings. We are so thankful she’s ours and so proud to celebrate her too!

Congratulations to Coosa’s Support Staff Member of the Year! We are so thankful to have Mrs. Sluder as part of the Bobcat family as our Behavior Management Specialist. She has a heart for children, is patient, and so kind. Thank you for all you do to support our students + teachers, Mrs. Sluder!

Congratulations to our Support Staff Member of the Year (ESS), Mrs. Bailey! Mrs. Bailey is our building’s substitute teacher. She is the person we lean on when one of the adults is absent, she knows and is loved by all the students, and she is always eager to lend a helping hand! She’s our gem! We are so grateful for Mrs. Bailey each day, and so happy to celebrate her too!

Beaufort County School District* (BCSD), in partnership with The Nutrition Group, is offering Groceries‑to‑Go, a new free summer food program providing weekly grab‑and‑go breakfast and lunch meal kits for children.

The program runs June 11 through July 31 and is open to children ages 18 and under, as well as eligible individuals over 18 with disabilities who participate in qualifying programs during the school year.

Families may pick up weekly grocery kits on Thursdays from 4–6 p.m. or Fridays from noon–2 p.m. at designated locations in Bluffton and Beaufort. (Pickups scheduled for June 19 and July 3 will move to the Wednesday prior from noon–2 p.m.)

Parents or guardians must reserve a ticket for each child, each week and present the QR code received by email along with an ID at pickup.
