INSIDE THE RIDGE INSIDE THE RIDGE

Message from Dr. Edwards

🎀Happy FRI-YAY Cato Ridge!🎀

Our first ever SPIRIT WEEK is next week!!! WAHOOOO!!!! Students will be participating to earn the rights to our SPIRIT STICK! Check out the Spirit Week section below for more details!

Also, there will be a "Spirit Shop" set up in the concession stand in which students can shop on their way to class in the morning. Nothing is more than $3 and it is cash only! Let's make this a spirit week to remember!!!

On another note, some neighbors in Stone Creek Ranch have shared concerns that parents are parking in the neighborhood by the pedestrian bridge and having their student walk to them. This is causing a lot of traffic and are causing neighbors issues getting to their homes. Our car line is pretty fast so we are asking that you be considerate of the families that live in Stone Creek Ranch and come through the car line.

Lastly, the gates to the fields are installed and locked. There is no public use of the fields. Please help to spread the word to your child(ren) and neighbors. People are jumping the locked gates which is considered trespassing. We want our fields to be well maintained and last a long time. Thank you for your cooperation in this matter!

Just a few reminders:

  • Monday is PAJAMA DAY! Does not have to be Cato Ridge pajamas!
  • INVEST in the PACK is a GOOOOOO!!!! DONATE NOW
  • If you have not paid your child's student fees, please do so as soon as possible. catoridgepto.org/shop

Cato Ridge families, we need your help! We are currently at $20,600 and only 25% of our school has donated.

https://www.catoridgepto.org/donate

Why does reaching $30,000 matter? We use Invest in the Pack dollars to support our entire school community. Without these funds, we will face severe budget cuts across the board. This includes:

❌ Special Events such as Spirit Week, Field Day, and 8th Grade Celebration!

❌ Supplies for classrooms including class sets of books, printing, technology updates, and more!

❌ Our Athletics teams rely on us to help fund team purchases, athletic trainers, concessions, end of season banquets, and our portable restrooms!

❌ The PTO provides funding to our Fine Arts including band, orchestra, visual arts, dance, and drama! We help cover costs of licenses, music, materials, and more!

❌ Staff appreciation and student recognition! We want to reward our Cato Ridge teachers and students and need the funding to do so!

Please donate today and help us hit our goal of $30,000!

TUTORING SCHEDULE TUTORING SCHEDULE

The Cato Ridge tutoring schedule is listed below. Students should come to tutoring sessions with specific questions and/or ideas of what they need to work on. Students may attend any teacher's tutoring session. For example, if your student can't attend their ELA teacher's tutoring time, he/she may attend the tutoring session of another ELA teacher on that grade level.
