McStaff Raises $500 for Panther House
Thank you to everyone who came out to McDonalds last night to help us raise funds for the Panther House! WHS raised $500 to support WHS students and families in need. McDonalds also donated meal coupons.
💜 What is the Panther House? 💛
The Panther House provides resources to Wenatchee High School students and families when they need it most. No student should go without the basics they need to be successful, and Wenatchee High School is proud to provide monetary support and resources thanks to the generosity of community partners and school staff. WHS students are encouraged to submit a request for food, school supplies, or personal items if their families are unable to obtain resources on their own.
Panthers Volunteer at Walk to End Alzheimer’s
Last weekend, Wenatchee Cheer and the WHS chapter of the National Honors Society volunteered at the annual Walk to End Alzheimer's at Walla Walla Point Park, helping set up and cheering on walkers. Way to support advocacy efforts and participate in community leadership!

Panthers of the Week & Wenatchee Panther Podcast Interviews
Congratulations to the this week's recipients of Panther of the Week: Adalyn Jeffery and Haidyn Delaney!
This Week of the Wenatchee Panther Podcast
This week on the Wenatchee Panther Podcast, host Eric Granstrom is joined by Panther Athletes of the Week, Adalyn Jeffery and Haidyn Delaney. Eric also chats with sophomore runner Brooklyn Biwer, girls soccer player Sophia Garcia, and their coaches. Girls soccer is ranked #3 on the WIAA RPI poll this week as Wenatchee has reeled off 5-wins in a row including 4-shutouts.
🥎 Haidyn Delaney
Haidyn stepped up into a role of a position that she normally would not play. With limited girls, we have limited players for positions. She is usually our outfielder, but stepped up and is playing short stop. In the first play of our first game, she made a diving play for the first out. She surprises us with the ability to adjust and learn as the season goes on. She also has been one of our best leaders this season. She is constantly helping other girls with learning their own positions as well. She leads our ladders every practice and wants what is best for the team.
🏐 Adalyn Jeffery
In her first year of high school volleyball, Adalyn has been working hard to be a great teammate, a driven competitor, and responsible communicator. She supports and encourages her teammates during practice and games, she gives her best effort every day, and competes with a positive attitude. She communicates clearly and respectfully with coaches and teammates, takes responsibility for her actions, and always looks for ways to improve both on and off the court.
